Wouldn't recommend it without the stand as the unit is very flimsy and the hinges were loose on some of them. However, it provides great privacy and serves its purpose well to divide a large room into an office/bedroom. It is very stable with the stand. I would recommend this item to anyone needing to divide a room attractively on a small budget.

I was worried at first because the exterior shipping box had a few holes in it so I was concerned the panel might be damaged. Come to find out it is double boxed and was in perfect shape! Panels come pre-assembled so all you have to do is put a few screws to attach the base (recommended!)
Looks great, fits perfect, screws were all there! Even came with a spare piece of rice paper to fix it in the future!
I was more than pleased! Quick shipping! Shipped on Thur and I received it on Sat (FedEx home)!
