The Low Cherry Blossom Shoji Room Divider is a unique way to dress up any space. This divider stands 48 inches tall, making it perfect for small areas like kids' rooms. It can also be used in front of a fireplace, or simply as a unique design element in any space.
This divider features durable construction, with a lightweight Scandinavian spruce frame built using Asian-style mortise and tenon joinery. The frame is available in your choice of fine wood finishes and features a bottom kick-plate to protect the shades. Lacquered brass two-way hinges allow you to bend the panels in either direction. The panels themselves are made from strong, fiber-reinforced, pressed-pulp rice paper, which allows light to pass through but diffuses it gently. The cross design of the frame stands in geometric contrast to the painted black and red cherry blossom design, which blends well with a variety of decors.
Each panel measures approximately 48 inches tall, 0.75 inches thick, and 17.5 inches wide. The four-panel screen measures approximately 72 inches wide when flat, and 60 inches wide when folded to stand upright.

I used this on a kitchen bar that opens into a separate room in order to close it off when not in use, and hopefully cut down on the heat loss at nite. The other room has a lot of big windows, so it lets in a lot of lite during the day, but I think a lot of heat goes out at nite.
I was a little disappointed in the blossom color, as it is not red, nor pink, it is more orange than any other color. The frame is not very husky, but it is OK for what I use it for. I hinged one edge to the opening around the bar and it folds up and unfolds no problem. Other than the color it is quite attractive. Other people think it is in the red range. I don't. Orange is not my favorite.
