The Oriental Unlimited Window Pane 60-Inch Shoji Room Divider is the perfect size for providing the attractive privacy of a traditional Oriental screen without overwhelming the room. Measuring only 5 feet tall, this screen is ideal for sheltering a play area or acting as a fireplace screen, or simply adding a new design element to your space. The frame is crafted from durable, lightweight Scandinavian spruce, using Asian-style mortise-and-tenon joinery. The elegant shade is made from strong, fiber-reinforced, pressed-pulp rice paper, which allows diffused light to shine through while providing complete privacy. Lacquered-brass two-way hinges mean you can bend the panels in either direction for versatility. Select from six fine wood finishes, and 3-, 4-, 5-, or 6-panel options. Each panel measures 17.5L x 0.75W x 60H inches.

    I'm somewhat disappointed in my purchase. For the price I was expecting a well-made, sturdy screen which this is not. In fact it's borderline flimsy. I ordered the screen for use as a display component for art fairs as I had seen similar screens at [...] but they were too tall to fit in my vehicle; however given the lessor quality of the screen I purchased I shoule have figured out a way to use theirs.

            This is a very nice screen. Mine is three panels; I bought it to hide my bed from the rest of the space and to keep the a/c from blowing on me at night. It serves both purposes well, though for hiding the bed I wish there had been a four panel one available. It is attractive, lightweight and easy to move around. The rice paper pulp is surprisingly strong and firm. I'm very happy with it and am sure I'll find multiple uses for it in the years to come. And the price is wonderful!
