We bought this screen to partition a bedoom and create a "home office corner" that would be visually isolated from the rest of the house. Based on the price and some of the other reviews here, we were a little worried about quality, but once it arrived our fears disappeared.
For the price, this is an excellent value. No, it's not six hundred pounds and made of inches-thick hardwood, but it's not made of paper, either. At a department store I'd expect this to go for $300-$400 and it would be a fair deal at that price.
The fabric is clean and tight and reasonably thick, the wood is solid enough and nicely finished, and the whole thing has an air of elegant practicality about it. Certainly it doesn't look like an heirloom-quality piece or a centuries-old antique from China, but if you're shopping online hoping to find something like that at just a few hundred dollars, you're bound to be very disappointed.
We're very pleased with this screen. It doesn't squeak, it stands nice and straight, it looks good, it provides good privacy, and it feels to us as though it will last at least a few years if not longer. What more can you hope for for the price of a couple of tanks of gas?

Came assembled and undamaged. Strong odor from product, probably the finish, stored in garage hoping the smell will diminish. Visable glue where product did not accept stain.
