I live in an NYC studio and I wanted this product to create a visual barrier between my bed and my seating/living area and more importantly the kitchen and entry area. I hated the idea that if someone walked a few steps into my apartment they can actually see my bed. I wanted a screen that would hold up with a cat, and it does thus far. I also wanted something tasteful, affordable that creates privacy BUT doesn't block the sunlight into the other rooms. I ordered it in Rosewood to match my living room furniture and it does look a bit darker then pictured. Overall, its a great screen, durable and attractive. I ordered the 4 panel to fit/block the length of my bed.

I bought this screen to provide darkness at night due to a building next door that leaves their lights on 24 hours. It looks nice, easy to assemble, however one of the panels had damaged slats (seven) that I can't figure out how to correct. It doesn't affect the performance, but it looks funky.

I'm using my dining area as a music room with my piano and it has no doors on the arched entryways so the screens will give the needed privacy to guests who will be sleeping on a spare bed there occasionally. I think it will work out great.
